CY issues a newsletter to decommissioning workers to help keep them informed of plant activities, upcoming
events, training requirements, safety issues and industry news. In addition, each CY Today lists Condition Reports (CRs), which are problems or concerns, such as errors made or incorrect procedures, that employees identify and bring to management's attention. A special team reviews each CR, assigns it a level of significance and reviews the plan of action to address the concern. CRs are part of a self-assessment program at CY that enhances a safety conscious work environment.
